# Getting started
Kind: article
Version: v1
Description: Build readable documentation sites with a shared content, theme, and publishing system.
URL: https://docs.sorrell.sh/docs/v1/

## Documentation with a point of view

Sorrell Documentation gives teams a stable place to explain products, publish API references, and keep examples close to the code they describe.

The first useful path is deliberately small: write a page, organize it into a versioned navigation tree, and let the generated site take care of the reading surface.

## What this site demonstrates

- Markdown and MDX content collections with deterministic ordering.
- A responsive documentation shell with navigation, table of contents, and previous/next links.
- Canonical URLs, metadata, theme persistence, and a Copy for LLM control on every article.
